Benifit #1 of God: To know God and believe Him
Have you ever considered having an intimate relationship with God?
The level of trust we have can often be marred by heartbreak, betrayal, or a
painful loss and can often challenge our ability to trust someone with our
heart. God is anxious to help us overcome our unbelief, our inability to
trust and our past. God is patient, loving and will wait for you to open
your heart, the only thing he asks is for you to believe. The closer you
walk with God the closer you are to freedom in Him.

Benifit #2 of God - To Glorify God
Have you ever been in church on Sunday morning and watched
the congregation standing during a song and some lift their hands in the
air, and tears stream down their face? Some people wonder why that is.
Why there is such a movement of emotion in people that truly love
the Lord. One of the best things about an intimate relationship with
God is knowing that you will change. The person you are will be
transformed to glorify God, and the closer you walk the more his
will can be revealed through you.

Benifit #3 of God - To Find Satisfaction in God.
"Ho, every one that thirsteth come ye to the waters, and he that hath
no money; come ye, buy and eat, yea come buy wine and milk with out money
and with out price." Isaiah 55:1
"Wherefore do ye spend money for that which is not bread? and your labor
for that which satisfieth not? hearken diligently unto me, and eat ye that
which is good, and let your soul delight itself in fatness." Isaiah 55:2
God's word is truth, and to find true satisfaction in Him all he
asks you to do is follow Him. God asked his people in the above verses in
essence, "why do you work so hard for things that are never enough,
can never fill you up and are endlessly insufficient?". Follow
Him and you will be fulfilled.

Benifit #4 of God - To Experience God's Peace
Extreme grief can bring us to a place mentally where we feel like
breaking, like nothing can soothe the pain and we will never see the light
at the end of the tunnel. Difficult circumstances leaves us asking "why me".
Learning to trust our sovereign God will allow unexpected peace to
wash over you like a summer rain. Reading the book of Job will show
you just what this means. Even in the worst circumstances Job believed
God and trusted His will and was rewarded for his faithfulness. God will give
you peace, He will wrap you up in grace and hold you until the pain stops.
Believe in Him and He will give you peace that no one else can.

Benifit #5 of God - To Enjoy God's Presence
Christian believers that are close in their walk with God can express
the true enjoyment of God's presence. Most have quiet time, or prayer
time, that basically consists of simply spending time alone with God. Having
quiet time with God only requires your attention and a silent room. Even
during the worst raging storm we can smile and look to the heavens because
He is there. God's presence brings peace, understanding, and an unchanging
and unconditional love that no other can provide.

"The Spirit of the Lord God is upon me; because the Lord hath anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek; he hath sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim libert to the captives and the opening of the prison to them that are bound" Isaiah 61:1 KJV

"You are my witnesses, declares the Lord, and my servant whom I have chosen, so that you may know and believe me and understand that I am he" Isaiah 43:10 KJV

""Whosoever therefore shall humble himself as this little child, the same is greatest in the kingdom of heaven. And whoso shall receive one such little child in my name receiveth me. But whoso shall offend one of these little ones which believe in me it were better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck and that he were drowned in the depth of the sea." Matthew 18:4-6
